Lakeland Supply is looking for a full-time Assistant Distribution Manager to join our warehousing team.

Duties for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversees and directs performance of Material Handlers
  • Directs flow of warehouse operations
  • Responsible for training new employees
  • Rewards and/or disciplines warehouse employees as dictated by actions
  • Implements DC strategic initiatives in coordination with our Distribution Center Manager
  • Oversight of material handling equipment
  • Owns and implements safety initiatives

Requirements for this position are:

  • Availability to work Monday thru Friday, 5:00am to 2:00pm

Job Highlights

Lakeland Supply is looking for a part-time accounting clerk to join our accounting department.

How would you like to join a Christian-based company that prides itself in leaving our customer better than they were before? We are looking for a positive team player who is goal-oriented, works independently, and enjoys a fast-paced environment.

The Accounting Clerk prepares, maintains, and processes accounting records and financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank deposits.

Monday thru Friday: 20-25 per week

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Enter invoices: reviews invoices and approvals and selects items for payment; prints accounts payable checks, processes ACH payments and posts wire payments; maintains and balances check registers
  • Receives and posts cash and electronic payments, ensuring accurate reporting and coding to appropriate departments, and proofs reports
  • Assists with other accounting projects and reports; trains other staff in the accounting system as needed
  • Performs other duties as requested

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL

  • High school diploma or GED and some specialized training
  • 2-4 years of general accounting experience
  • Associate’s degree in Accounting desired
  • Proficiency with Excel and Word
  • Basic accounting skills
  • Paid time off
  • Demonstrates attention to detail

  • Demonstrated ability to operate a stand-up forklift
  • Ability to perform job functions in a safe and accurate manner
  • Use of an RF Scanner
  • Steel-toed shoes
