JOB SUMMARY:

Manage and lead Lakeland Supply’s entire financial and accounting operations including additional responsibilities in the areas of legal, payroll, 401K, workers compensation, banking, Information Technology (with an outside provider), delivery truck leasing, property and equipment insurance operations. Execute the company’s financial strategy, develop plans for growth to increase company profit while reducing expenditure. Manage three hourly direct reports.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Overall General Accounting Responsibility, Oversight and Planning
    • Issue Monthly Financial Statements and Summaries
    • Journal Entries, Reconciliations , Fixed Assets, Cash Flow
    • Government Reporting (i.e., sales tax returns, 1099’s, other annual filings)
  • Accounts Payable Oversight and Planning
  • Accounts Receivable Oversight and Planning
  • Year-End Preparation and Reporting , Year-End Review Preparation and Coordination
  • Tax Planning, Coordination and Payment
  • Banking Oversight, Planning and Reporting
  • Management and Ownership Reporting
  • Legal Oversight and Planning
    • Document Review, Coordination with Outside Counsel
  • Risk Management Oversight, Planning and Reporting
  • Facility Management and Planning
  • Payroll
    • Oversight and Planning, Commission Preparation
  • Information Technology Planning and Oversight
  • ERP System Knowledge, Planning and Troubleshooting
  • 401k Oversight, Planning and Reporting
  • Credit Card Processing Oversight and Planning
  • Leasing Oversight and Planning
  • Expense Oversight, Planning and Approval
  • Kitting/Light Assembly Oversight, Planning and Reconciliation
  • Inventory Control Oversight, Planning and Reconciliation
  • Rebates Oversight, Planning and Reconciliation
  • Manage Staff and Direct Reports

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree with a major in accounting, 5-years’ experience as a CFO in a mid-sized company.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree or Graduate degree in accounting, 10 years’ experience as a CFO in a mid-sized company, CPA, Experience in General Business Operations (outside of accounting/finance), Cost Accounting Experience
